Promotion Voting

I was thinking about keeping the promotion voting on the forum for everyone to see
This way everyone could have an opinion (Mod and up of course)

No, mods and up are decided by neat, voting would imply the idea of some one being able to get mod without the consent of neat, this is not a good idea at all.

The main reason for having a moderator area on the forum is so that Moderators and above can have input on who gets ranks. I think voting could be a stupid idea as there are a few players that are serious candidates for Moderator and in a voting system they would probably get it and most of the time the server would be high rank heavy which is not really what we want.
