PVP for newblock!

Neate and the admins are thinking about making the server PVP when the next minecraft patch hits, any thoughts? any suggestions? any questions? please reply

Just make sure spawnkilling is impossible and I'll be fine with it.

it sounds like a great idea but not everybody likes the idea of PvP, i think we should have 2 diffrent NewBlock servers (which are linked throught a warp(u can get a mod which allows u to warp from 1 server to another)) and have 1 PvP,fractions and war, and the other being a causal server (like the 1 we have now)

i like the idea, but i hate when in pvp you come out of spawn an dyou die. I think the first 100-500 blocks b eused to
collect materials and make swords so that new players do not get like killed on the spot but it sounds good

The way we are planning, pvp spawnkilling will be almost impossible

Again, another bad idea from you jk, 2 servers would cost neateshot a fortune to run, not to mention we would not have the staff to manage 2 servers, there WILL be a non Pvp WORLD and or area for the players who prefer to be survival without pvp and there will also be towns (Probs made by thelegeneddevil) where pvp is disabled

Hmm this is a nice idea, but we are not done planning fully yet so.. we will see, thanks for the suggestion

Is there going to be a plugin for the world that is in survival non pvp, like the plugin towny?

I dothink there should be pvp. But not in the spawn. then that would be total chaos. ;]
